The Simple Joys of Preparing and Sharing
Forged in Germany, inspired by Italy: each Amici knife pays homage to our collaboration with Castello di Serragiumenta – a 16th century castle in the Calabrian countryside.

WÜSTHOF Amici
Amici brings the warm, welcoming spirit of the Mediterranean into your kitchen. This series celebrates togetherness, joy in natural beauty, and the art of slow living. Each Amici knife features a unique Calabrian olive wood handle, making it a work of art as well as a high-performing tool. The wood is resilient, antibacterial, and naturally odor- and stain-repellent. It’s an invitation to slow down, share good food, and enjoy meaningful moments with loved ones.
Forged from a single piece of WÜSTHOF steel, Amici knives are perfectly balanced and feature an elegant design with curved lines flowing from blade to handle. The outstanding sharpness enhances the pleasure of preparing meals. More than just tools, these are companions in creating memories and embodying "la dolce vita"–the joyful zest for life.

Series Highlights

Unique Blades
The Amici blade is forged from a single piece of WÜSTHOF steel in our factory in Solingen, Germany. Our special stainless steel, shaped precisely in our forge, is exceptionally hard, durable, and rust-resistant. Each blade is finished by hand by our experienced knife artisans to perfect it for daily use.
Calabrian Olive Wood: Each Amici knife is an original thanks to the distinct grain of the olive wood handles. The Calabrian olive tree is slow growing, with extremely durable wood that is naturally water-repellent and antibacterial. Our sustainably sourced wood comes mainly from olive trees that bear little to no fruit, due to their advanced age.
